For hosts Pick your own store: in Where to buy, search for any store and tap "Shop here". Apéro fills it with everything on your list that store can supply, and only sends the rest to other stores. Your picks are saved per dinner (and for the cookbook list). Picked stores more than 25 miles from your current location are left out, with a note and a Remove link. More realistic grocery estimates: Totals are based on the packages you'd actually buy, such as a whole bottle of olive oil for 2 tablespoons, rather than a fraction of the recipe amount. You get a rough range ("~$85–$120"), with pantry staples like salt, oil and spices shown as a separate "if you need to restock" note. Prices were checked against current grocery store listings. Frozen and prepared items are now priced: puff pastry, phyllo, pie crust, pizza dough, frozen vegetables, sauces, mixers and more. Equipment tab on the cookbook shopping list: see the gear your recipes need without creating an event. Ingredients copied exactly as written: shopping lists now show each recipe's ingredients the way the recipe shows them. Faster, more reliable recipe search and import: search now runs through Apéro's servers. If a site blocks your phone, import falls back to the server.
Apéro is a host planner for the dinner you throw at home. Plan the menu, guests, shopping list, and timeline in one place. Save recipes to your cookbook, share a dish or menu with a link, and invite a co-host to edit or view the same dinner. You need an Apéro account (Apple or Google) to plan. Your events sync to that account so they follow you to another phone or the web. Share links for a recipe, menu, or shopping list can be opened without an account.
