Walking now shows you what it's doing for you. • Brisk minutes: see how many minutes you walked at a brisk pace each day and week, the kind of walking that counts as exercise. • Since you started: compare your steps, distance, brisk minutes, heart and walking stats from before StarWalks with now. • Your first week: new walkers get seven short steps, one a day, each showing a different part of the game. • Badges you can open: tap any badge to see when you earned it and share it. Collect limited badges to unlock new star looks for your map: Silver, Comet and Aurora. • Meteor showers are easy to spot: the extra stars are pink with a tail, and stay pink once caught. • Festive events keep counting after you earn the badge. • Step sources: see which devices count your steps (iPhone, Apple Watch, rings) and why Health's total can differ. • Your streak is now on the Profile tab. • Update reminders when a new version is out.
StarWalks turns everyday walking into a game. Stars are scattered along the real walkable paths around you — on sidewalks, trails, and quiet streets. Start a walk, stroll up to a star, and it's yours. The field refreshes every day, so there's always somewhere new to wander. WALK TO CATCH THEM • Deterministic stars sit on real paths from OpenStreetMap — no two neighborhoods look alike. • Capture a star simply by walking close to it. No tapping, no aiming — just move. • A fresh field every day means every walk counts. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Steps, distance, and streaks by day, week, month, and year. • An hourly breakdown of today, and a calendar of your month. • Finished walks save to Apple Health as Outdoor Walk or Cycling workouts, with your route and calories. WALK WITH FRIENDS • Create a private group, share the invite code, and compare daily totals on Today / last 7 days / last 30 days leaderboards. • Members see each other's steps, stars, and distance — never locations or routes. EARN ACHIEVEMENTS • Dozens of milestones for distance, streaks, speed, and exploration. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-up. • No ads and no third-party tracking. • Your location and your routes never leave your device. Lace up and go catch some stars.
