New in 1.6.0 • A whole new look: a new home screen, bigger buttons and a new app icon. • The Ladder: fill all nine squares of a solo Box to Box grid to earn points and climb from Division 10 to Division 1. A new season starts every month. • Solo grids now finish as soon as every square has a player, with your points and your time. • Friends: tap any player's name to add them, see which friends are online, and invite them straight into your game. • League of Ireland mode: a grid of League of Ireland clubs only. • Grids and hints now lean on players from the last 30 years. • Fixes to player data, including Chelsea's 2012 Champions League winners.
Ball Knowledge is football grid trivia you play with your mates. Every grid pairs clubs, countries, leagues and trophies. Name a player who fits both the row and the column. Type any name and he drops into every square he fits. No clock, no timer, just how much ball knowledge you really have. RARE ANSWERS SCORE BIG Every answer is scored on rarity. Name the player everyone thinks of and you get a point. Name the one nobody else remembers and you get ten. THREE DAILY GRIDS Easy, Regular and Hard, the same for everyone, one go each. Global and national leaderboards for every grid. LEAGUES FOR YOUR GROUP CHAT Start a league, drop the link in the group chat, and everyone's daily scores add up across the week. The table resets every Monday. PLAY TOGETHER Co-op rooms put one live grid on everyone's phone. Answers land in your mates' colours, with a running leaderboard at the bottom. HEAD TO HEAD Challenge a friend to the same grid. Play it in your own time. The higher score wins and your record is kept. HINTS WHEN YOU ARE STUCK Position and nationality, then years at the club, then appearances and goals, then initials. YOUR STATS Streaks, deep cuts, accuracy, your rarest pick, your strengths by category and your record against every friend. Make it yours: keep the clubs to England only (or anywhere else), choose which countries can appear, and pick a colour scheme. Ball Knowledge is not affiliated with any club, league or governing body. Player data comes from public sources.
