New: wake up to the adhan for Fajr. Choose from six recordings, from Turkish to Makkah to the Balkans, preview each one, or add your own adhan as a file. It rings like an alarm clock, even when your iPhone is on silent. Turn it on right from Today in the Fajr chapter: “Wake me with the adhan”.
Nur shows you the prayer times for every day, finds the qibla, wakes you for Fajr and recites Quran verses for you. And because the five prayers already give your day a rhythm, small good habits hang on them: adhkar, a page of Quran, water, reading. PRAYER TIMES FOR EVERY DAY • All five prayer times calculated offline, no internet needed • Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egypt, Karachi, Moonsighting Committee, Diyanet, Europe 2023 and more • Asr standard or Hanafi, minute adjustments per prayer to match your mosque • A quiet reminder at every adhan • Home Screen and Lock Screen widget: the next prayer with a countdown and all five times • Prayer times for the whole year as a calendar, like the timetable on a mosque wall QIBLA COMPASS • The direction of the Kaaba with true north (magnetic declination corrected) • A gentle tap when you face the qibla exactly • Today's prayer times and the next prayer right beside it • Mosque nearby: the compass points to the nearest mosque, with distance and a route QURAN VERSES TO LISTEN TO • One verse per page: swipe up for the next, calm instead of endless • Recited by Mishary Rashid Alafasy, every verse inside the app, even offline • The word being recited glows gold, the meaning follows along • Arabic script or Latin transliteration in one tap • By theme: patience, gratitude, mercy, prayer, dua and more • Save verses, share them as an image and memorize them: repeat, slow down, hide words • A widget with the verse of the day, on Fridays from Surah Al-Kahf FAJR ALARM WITH ADHAN • A real alarm (iOS 26) that rings even on silent • Wake up to the adhan: six recordings to preview (Turkey, Makkah, Balkans, Levant, Maldives, London) or your own adhan file • Moves with Fajr every day: at the adhan, 20 minutes after, or 30 minutes before sunrise RAMADAN • A countdown to Ramadan, then Iftar and suhoor at a glance • Suhoor alarm (iOS 26) on every fasting day, 30 to 90 minutes before Fajr • The widget counts down to Iftar on fasting days • Ramadan habits in one tap: the fast, suhoor, one juz of Quran a day, Tarawih, qiyam in the last ten nights • Start a day earlier or later to match your mosque SALAH TRACKER, NO GUILT • Hold the circle when you've prayed. Never an accidental tap. • Missed a prayer? Nur calmly offers two ways: make it up now, or log it as prayed • Your Hijri month as a path, every day a small ring of five arcs • No points for prayers, no leaderboards, no streak threats HABIT TRACKER FOR MUSLIMS • Every habit hangs on a prayer: "After Fajr: morning adhkar" • Every habit grows as a plant in your courtyard, a date palm, a lemon tree, jasmine. It never wilts. • Tasbih counter, focus time (turn your phone over) and your own habits HURAYRA A kitten in a takke keeps you company. Hurayra sleeps at night, makes dhikr after the prayer and cheers at five out of five. Never disappointed. PRIVATE No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location stays on your device for prayer times and the qibla. Only when you search for mosques nearby, and agree, is a point rounded to about 1 km sent to OpenStreetMap. Nur is available in English, German, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, Urdu and French.
