The first screen says plainly that SleepTimer stays open on its night screen while a timer runs. Two days before the trial ends, the start screen tells you. If this Apple Account already used the trial on another device, the app says so instead of promising 7 free days again. Siri, widgets and the Apple Watch now explain when a timer needs the trial or the purchase, and the purchase screen opens. No more placeholder instead of the price when the App Store could not be reached at launch.

Pick a duration, and when the time is up SleepTimer stops whatever is playing: Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, podcasts, audiobooks, Apple Music, Safari videos and more. HOW IT WORKS Keep SleepTimer open. Its night screen turns pitch black and you can lay your iPhone face down.
