Glance at your countdown without opening the app. Your workout now shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and large in StandBy while your iPhone charges. Start today's workout in one press from your Lock Screen or Control Center, and see your week right on the Lock Screen. On Apple Watch, everything starts from two big buttons, Abs and core and Pre & postnatal, and both sides are laid out the same, so you know where to look on either one. On a Watch with Double Tap, pause and resume without touching the screen. Add your week to your watch face, too. Send one of your saved routines to a friend. One press on the link adds it to their app. Put your daily workout on your calendar, share your week sized for Stories, and pick a new look for the app icon.
For over 17 years I've done a 5-minute ab workout. It's short enough to stick with, so I made it into an app. Five moves, one minute each. Beginner is free. No account to set up. No ads. The prices are on the first screen. 5-Minute Abs is a quick ab and core workout you can do at home with no equipment. Every move uses only your own body weight. The app keeps the time and shows you each move. All you have to do is press play and follow along. HOW IT WORKS Pick a level and press Start. When you're in position, press the play button. You get 10 seconds to get ready. Then it's five moves, one minute each, with 10 seconds between moves to change position. When you finish, the app counts that day as done, and seven dots show your last seven days. If you want one, a daily reminder comes at the time you pick. - Beginner: 10 seconds on, 5 seconds rest, four times per move. - Intermediate: 25 seconds on, 10 seconds rest, 25 seconds on. - Advanced: the full minute. Moves done on both sides give you 5 seconds to switch halfway. PRE & POSTNATAL Three short routines for pregnancy and after birth, built around your breathing and your pelvic floor. Some moves use a firm chair. Every routine here was reviewed by a certified pre- and postnatal fitness coach in my family, so each move was checked for its stage by someone trained for it. - Pregnant: gentle breathing and lifts, with one stretch. Nothing on your back. - First 6 weeks after birth: gentle moves for the first weeks, once your doctor says it's OK. - 6 weeks and later: lifts and core moves to build back up. A bar shows when to lift and when to let go, and a count shows which one you're on. These are general exercises and aren't medical advice. Check with your doctor or midwife before you start, while you're pregnant and again after you give birth. Told you have diastasis recti (ab separation)? The after-birth routines start with breathing and gentle moves, and every workout here says to stop if a ridge bulges down the middle of your belly. Ask your doctor or a pelvic floor physical therapist before you start a workout routine. SEEING AND HEARING EACH MOVE - A figure does the move on screen while you do it. - Press any move to see how it's done. - A sound for each change: get ready, go (or lift), almost there, rest (or let go), switch sides, breathe in, breathe out, move finished, all done. - A voice names the next move before it starts. - The sounds play over your music and keep going when your phone is locked. ON APPLE WATCH - The ready-made routines on your wrist, with the moving figure and the countdown. - Your own routines are there too. If you're on a plan or bought Lifetime, you can build and edit ab routines on the Watch, and change the moves in the ready-made levels. - Your Watch vibrates at every change, so you can follow along without looking. - Start a workout on your iPhone or your Watch and it shows on both. Pause or skip on either one. - With your permission, Watch workouts are saved to Apple Health. WHAT'S FREE AND WHAT'S PAID The app is free to download. The Beginner routine and the Pregnant routine stay free on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. There are three ways to open the rest inside the app: a monthly plan, a yearly plan, or a lifetime purchase you pay once. The lifetime purchase can be shared with your family through Apple's Family Sharing. Each one opens: - The Intermediate and Advanced routines, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch - The two routines for after birth - Changing any move in any routine - The exercise library - Saving your own routines, on all your devices The monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. 5-Minute Abs shows you short ab and core exercises and general exercises for pregnancy and after birth. It is not medical advice, and it does not promise a 6-pack. Terms of Use: https://grumbees.com/5-minute-abs/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://grumbees.com/5-minute-abs/privacy/
