Write your letter to Santy, the Irish way. Dear Santy is one Christmas app for the whole family. Each letter writer gets their own letter on their own phone or tablet, and the grown-ups get a private side for planning Christmas. ONE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY With Family Sharing on, everyone in your Apple family gets Dear Santy from the one download. Without Family Sharing, each Apple ID needs its own copy. WRITING TO SANTY • Add a wish with a photo, a link and a note, then give it stars so Santy knows what matters most. • Share a wish straight from Safari or another app. • Send the letter when it's ready, before the closing day your family picks. A stamped envelope flies off to the North Pole. • Count the sleeps to Christmas, with snow falling on a little street that turns to night after dark. • A reply from Santy can arrive in the envelope. • Santy's voice, sleigh bells and a sparkle when you add a wish. Sound switches off in Settings. JOINING IS EASY A grown-up makes a magic code. The letter writer types it once, or scans it as a QR code, and their letter opens. No email, no password and no account for them. THE GROWN-UPS' SIDE Grown-ups make their account in the app, then sign in with an email and password in the app or on dearsanty.com. Every letter in the family lands there, ready to plan from: lists, dates, notes, reminders, progress ticks and charts. In the app it stays locked behind Face ID or Touch ID, with a one-tap hide, so it stays private on a shared tablet. Optional AI help for the grown-ups, from OpenAI, only after you say yes: it can fill in details from a screenshot you add and sum up your charts. Switch it off any time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • A letter is seen only by the grown-ups in that family. There is no feed, no messaging and no strangers. • No adverts, no tracking and no analytics companies. • We never ask for a birthday, a surname, a school or a location. • A letter writer's name, notes and photos are never sent to an AI service. Santy's reply only sees the names of wishes a grown-up said yes to. • Photos are re-saved on our server, which strips hidden location details, and a letter writer's photos are cleared away at the end of January. • Delete everything from inside the app, any time. WHAT YOU GET Everything, for the whole family, in one go: a letter for every letter writer, up to two parents and up to ten helpers such as a grandparent.
