New in 1.4 • Your playlists: open one to see its songs and tap a song to play from there. Play, Shuffle, Sort and Find are at the top, and each song has Play Next and Add to Up Next. • Up Next lists what's coming in a playlist you started here. • Lights buttons: the Shortcut buttons you made on your Mac come to your iPhone through iCloud, and you can add more here. Each one opens the Shortcuts app for a moment, then comes back. • The volume knob is spun metal now, and its reflection moves as you tilt and turn your iPhone. • Lip sync by itself: music and the YouTube app on the Apple TV play without the movie delay, and movies and shows get their delay back. Lip Sync lists each input's delay, and Signal Details shows it. • Room: a wide center speaker under the TV, raise or lower any speaker, stand a subwoofer on a shelf, set each shelf's height, give furniture its own colour, add a ceiling fan, and slide windows along their wall. • Every card has a title row, and Music's artwork comes in three sizes. • The Equalizer has an Analyzer button, to watch the room's sound while you move the bands. • Bigger − and + buttons on the Speakers and Room cards. • Fixes: playing music from a playlist no longer freezes the app, listening mode buttons change the mode on the first press, and the connection to the receiver holds when the app opens.
DM Home Theater Remote puts your Apple TV, your network AV receiver and your Google TV in one app, on your Mac, your iPhone and your Apple Watch. No account, no ads, no data collected. Press "Watch Apple TV" and it turns on the receiver, picks the right input, wakes the Apple TV and opens your app. Press "All Off" and it all turns off. Make your own buttons: choose the devices, the receiver input, the listening mode, the volume, the Apple TV app to open, and a Shortcut or (on iPhone) the lights to set. KNOW WHERE THE SOUND COMES FROM Now Playing shows what is playing and where it comes from: an app on the Apple TV, music AirPlayed from your Mac or phone, the TV's own apps, or the receiver's own player. It shows the whole path to your speakers (format, listening mode, speaker layout), and its play, pause and skip buttons go to the device that is really playing. MAKE IT YOURS • Full, Compact or Minimal layouts, or your own • Cards side by side in as many columns as your window fits, like a web page • Drag any card where you want it, even into an empty spot, and give it a width, a zoom and a control size • On the Mac, size or hide any Apple TV remote button and zoom the whole remote, or put everything (Apple TV, TV, receiver, buttons) in one panel of cards • A wider volume card gets a bigger knob; larger sliders and a taller equalizer for touch screens • Make the buttons you use most Large and the rest Small WHAT YOU GET • One-button activities you design yourself, with your own names and icons • A signal-path strip showing source, Apple TV, receiver input and TV at a glance • A full Apple TV remote: directions, now playing with scrubbing and track skip, apps, keyboard, volume • A full network AV receiver remote: power, precise volume (slider or knob), inputs by name, listening modes, live audio and video format, bass, treble and dialog, zones, setup menu • Sound presets (Movie, Dialog, Night, Music), a 9-band equalizer with saved curves, center and subwoofer levels, lip sync, and sound remembered for each input • A room planner: draw your room, place and turn speakers, furniture and the TV, stick windows to the walls, see it in 3D, find the sweet spot, and measure distances • A Google TV remote: directions, Back, Home, media keys, HDMI inputs, app shortcuts, power • Widgets, Control Center controls, an Apple Watch remote, and Siri and Shortcuts actions • On iPhone, lights in any of your Apple Homes can be part of a button; on the Mac a button can run a Shortcut • Menu-bar controls and keyboard shortcuts on the Mac WORKS WITH Apple TV, many Pioneer, Onkyo and Integra network receivers, and Google TV televisions.
