Mr Pohl, an insurance agent, lies lifeless in the vestry. He hasn't moved since 3 pm, and four people from the village came to the organ concert at St Martin's. Who was where, and when? HOW TO PLAY Every case is a floor plan: a church, a villa, an inn, a beach or a vineyard. You place the suspects on it, one per row and column. The clues tell you who was in the church garden, who stood next to a flowerbed and who wasn't in the same room as the baker. When a case runs over several hours, nobody gets further than the next room between one hour and the next. At every hour exactly one person was alone with the victim. The evidence (dust on a sleeve, poison, a witness) decides which moment was deadly; then you make your accusation, and the next morning it's in the paper. FAIR AND CALM • Every case has exactly one solution, and logic alone gets you there. • No ads, no timers, no lives. • Stuck? Streusel the cat shows you the next step and explains why it's right. • Solve a case without a tip or a wrong accusation and you earn the golden teacup. 48 CASES IN THREE PLACES Hedwig Sommer, a retired teacher, investigates in her home village of Kirchwinkel in spring, spends the summer by the Baltic Sea in Lütjenhafen and the autumn among the Moselle vineyards in Rebstetten. Each place has twelve cases from easy to hard, plus expert files with four big ones: 6 × 6 plans and four hours. In English and German. Your progress stays on your device.
