Essential App For Skiers! I find this app absolutely essential for my life is a skier! The weather and snow forecast are so accurate and invaluable.

Terrible app - inaccurate and stupid expensive. OpenSnow has become an embarrassment of an app. The forecasts seem to be paid for by resorts to get people hyped and are usually inaccurate. The price jacking is absolutely crazy.
Best Mountain Weather App! Close to reality mountain temperature forecasting (unlike the garbage temps mountain-forecast.com spits out), specific snow fall amount forecasts, really good smoke forecast animations, easy to view remote weather stations, and now severe weather / lightning alerts! All wrapped up in a well designed / easy to use app and web site. Nice to have a single app that does it all! 2026 Update: now with slope angle shading including the highest resolution (2m) slope angle data that I’ve seen anywhere!
Top Notch I love this app and when my subscription expired, I last maybe a week before I had to have it back. It’s great for all conditions, definitely not limited to snow or ski resorts. You want summer storm radar and forecasts for Cedar Rapids, IA? It has you covered!
Underrated weather app! The reviews describe how amazing it is for snow reports, but this app provides the most detailed, long-term forecasts of any weather app.

Weather Guys with Heart Open Snow is a terrific snow forecasting service and app. It is useful for making sure you catch the perfect snow days as well as a great tool for getting outside for hikes and other kinds of activities.
