BayWatch - Alerts for eBay

Great app but some flaws Literally no login functionality. Not sure what your supposed to do if you restore the app for whatever reason. All searches you set up disappear. The in-app contact support form also does not work (the arrow you click to send does not work). This is an overall great app when it works. Interface is great. I pay for the rapid discovery but it’s simply not fast enough. I hope you guys find a way to get the alerts out faster. Folks are still beating me to listings and i click on the BayWatch alerts within seconds of getting them. This has still helped me catch alot listings, which I’ve snagged, but feel like someone’s using an app thats just a touch step ahead of this one.

Doesn’t work anymore. Background refresh is turned on but still won’t work. I can’t seem to access this app.. as soon as the app opens it asks me to turn on background refresh. But it is turned on in my iphone settings but is grayed out. But if I try to reach the developer there’s no way to do so. The instructions on how to reach the developer are that you should contact them thru the contact tab in app, but the app only offers me an immediate error screen telling me to turn on background refresh. And so.. im stuck in a loop. Developer: please help me!!

3hr refresh free account Had issues even with 15 min paid version but support Neil deep dived into the issue of the item instantly selling out so this app won’t help you for that scenario.

Exceptional tool Great tool for when your on the hunt for collectibles

Background App Refresh I can only rate one star because the first dialog box that pops up requires me to enable background app refresh in settings but when I follow the link, iOS won’t allow me to enable. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. The app looks feature rich but I can’t access it so it’s a non starter. If support is able to help resolve I’d be happy to revise my review.

Very useful I’ve saved a lot of money buying things on eBay and even more with the help of this app

It’s only missing one thing. So, I’m updating my review from like 10 years ago. I love the app. Use it all the time. I find myself having to make two watches per item because there isn’t a way to make the “max price” INCLUDE the shipping cost. If the max price metric included shipping, I would drop a lot of false positive hope, and only get alerted for items that are below my “out the door” price. Pleaaaaase consider the feature.

No connection to your eBay account Does not even have a feature to link to your actual eBay account

Needs an update eBay just updated where baywatch no longer is able to open the item directly on eBay. Baywatch needs fixing
