Calmdo is an offline to-do list and task planner with reminders. Type a task in plain English, add a date, a time and a repeat, and Calmdo reminds you on your phone. No account. No ads. TYPE TASKS IN PLAIN ENGLISH Type "call mum in 2 hours every week" and Calmdo creates a task with a date, a time and a weekly repeat. It reads dates, times, repeats, #tags, @lists, priority (!high, !med, !low) and time estimates such as ~30m as you type. Before you save, chips show what the app recognised. REMINDERS • Set a due date and time, and get a reminder before the task. • Calmdo uses exact alarms when Android allows them. If your phone does not allow exact alarms, the task is marked "Approximate", because the reminder may come late. • Reminders are scheduled again after your phone restarts. • When you open the app, Calmdo checks that upcoming reminders are still scheduled and sets again any that are missing. This check runs at most once every 6 hours. • When a reminder is coming up, the Today screen shows its time. • Reminder Shield gives battery tips for your phone brand and opens the battery settings. • Test an alarm during setup. REMINDER HEALTH CHECK • Run test alarms at 2, 5 and 10 minutes and see whether each one fired or was missed. • See the log of your real reminders with their status: pending, opened, still showing or no response. ONE TASK AT A TIME • Today: tasks due today and overdue tasks. • Focus mode: one task, full screen, with a countdown ring. • Pomodoro timer with short and long breaks. Work length: 15, 25, 45 or 60 minutes. • Optional floating focus ring shown over other apps. • Eight starter templates break a big task into steps, for example taxes or a trip. • Priority Matrix with four quadrants. OVERDUE TASKS • Optional auto-rollover: when the app starts, overdue tasks without a time and without a repeat move to today. • One button moves all overdue tasks to today at the same time, or to tomorrow if that time has already passed today. • Swipe to snooze a task for 1 hour, until the evening or until tomorrow at 9:00. Until then, the task is hidden from Today. Its reminder is not moved. YOUR DATA Your tasks are stored in a database on your phone. Calmdo has no account and no server of its own, and it contains no ad or analytics SDK. You can export your tasks and lists to one JSON file, share it to a place you choose, and import it into Calmdo later. Android backup may include app data, depending on your phone settings.
