iOS-style glass launcher: custom grid, dock, folders, widgets and app search.
Aurora: iOS Style Launcher gives your Android phone a clean glass home screen with a custom grid, adjustable icon size, an arrangeable dock, folders, icon packs, widgets and fast app search. It is designed to stay responsive on everyday phones. A HOME SCREEN YOU ACTUALLY CONTROL • Multi-page home, pick your own grid size and icon size • Drag and drop to rearrange; drop one icon on another to make a folder • Pull anything into the dock — 3, 4 or 5 slots, your choice • Hide apps you never open, rename any app, replace any icon • Reorder, hide or delete whole pages from one screen GLASS, TWO WAYS Frosted gives you a soft opaque panel. Clear glass gives you a thin translucent surface with a reflective rim and real background blur on Android 12 and up. Accent colour, icon shape, icon style and dock style all follow whichever you pick. WIDGETS, YOURS AND OURS Put any widget from any app you have installed straight on the home screen — Gmail, Maps, your music player, your calendar. Alongside them, Aurora draws its own weather, calendar, analog clock, battery and app suggestion widgets. Weather runs on Open-Meteo, so there is no account to make and no API key to paste. FIND ANYTHING Swipe down from the middle of the home screen to search — apps whose name starts with what you typed come first, so two letters is usually enough. Swipe right for the widget page. The last page is an App Library that sorts your apps into groups on its own, with its own search box. ICON PACKS AND WALLPAPER Install any icon pack from the Play Store and Aurora picks it up. Or replace single icons one at a time with your own image. Wallpapers are built in, and you can always use your own. TRUE SQUIRCLE ICONS Icons are masked to a real superellipse, not a rounded rectangle, and both adaptive and legacy icons are normalised to the same shape and the same visual weight. It is the difference you notice without being able to name it. PUT ICONS WHERE YOU WANT Drop an icon on any cell and it stays there. Leave gaps, keep your wallpaper visible, build a layout that is actually yours. FIVE ICON STYLES Light, Dark and Tinted, plus Clear — where your wallpaper shows through the icon itself — and Automatic, which follows your system light and dark setting. FOLDS AND TABLETS Unfolding gives you more columns and more room, not bigger icons. The App Library widens the same way. BACK UP YOUR LAYOUT Export your home screen — pages, folders, dock, free placement, hidden apps and renamed apps — to one file, then bring it back after a reset or on a new phone. WEATHER WITHOUT LOCATION ACCESS Pick your city by name and the weather widget works without ever asking for location permission. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • A system-wide control panel is a separate app, Aurora Control: Quick Panel, not part of this one.
