I've read some on why CoMaps forked and I understand their concerns. I'll give CoMaps a run when I go out of town next week. So I used CoMaps on my trip out and it actually has a few more things that the other map doesn't or at least that I can see. I like it with one thing. there is a lot of green, the other has more color in it. with that exception CoMaps is very nice. Give the team feathers all around.

Best OSM/privacy respecting maps alternative there is
Open source and better offline than Organic maps. Quick connection to satellite in Canada. If I'm not wrong this is part of the team that did work previously for Organic maps so they know what they are doing and this time they are fully independent. It is a great product works as I needed and I wish them best continuation in the future. Could not find a donate option.

I personally think that this is a great app and is the best navigation app that uses OSM data. Unfortunately, I can't really use it in my area because OSM coverage is not great where I live, as it lacks a lot of businesses and addresses, and I say this as an OSM contributor myself, who is trying to add data to OSM in my area, but I can't do it all myself. But if the coverage and data in your area is good, then this app is a great option and I highly recommend it.

Usually when data improves, more people will use OSM based services resulting in more people contributing. I believe you can be the start of something great in your community. Easy and very available to use my route and my point ... Great Continue on develop
Loving this app more than any other OpenStreetMap-based map! Works very well with android auto for me. It does rely on your area being well-mapped on OpenStreetMaps for more accurate results, however you should still consider using it. Sometimes roads, sidewalks, and bike paths are more accurate/up-to-date here than on Google Maps! This app has helped me find areas in my city that are under-mapped and I can fix or add stuff myself on OpenStreetMaps (and so should you :))

this app simply does not find locations when your mobile I cannot rely on it for work use
I like this app because the authors aren't fascist cowards who rename lakes to appease dictators.
