- New look: the whole app in the new Studio design, controls always in the same place - Landscape: move the control panel, larger scan frame, detection only inside the frame - New filter "Red-green": simulates red-green colour weakness (not a vision test) - "Search" opens a Google search in your browser, web addresses become links – only when you tap - Read aloud highlights the spoken word - New colour theme Pink, crash in reading mode fixed
Magnifier with light, mirror with ring light. Hold, invert, read aloud offline.
A mirror and a magnifier in one app. One tap switches between them, and each mode keeps its own settings. MAGNIFIER • Spread two fingers and small print gets big. The zoom slider and the volume keys zoom as well. • The torch is built in. • "Hold" freezes the image, so you can zoom in calmly, even with shaky hands. • Negative: one tap inverts the colours, dark turns bright. • Tick mode: negative, light and magnification in one tap, for a close look at your skin. • Six colour filters from the world of low-vision aids: yellow on black, black on yellow, blue on yellow, greyscale, high contrast and negative, plus a red-green simulation that shows how people with red-green colour weakness see colours (not a vision test). • Brightness and contrast can be set separately. MIRROR • The front camera as a mirror, with a glowing frame that lights up your face. You choose its width, shape and light colour. • Light moods from daylight to candlelight show in advance how your make-up will look in the evening. • Compare view: still image and live image one above the other, for before and after. • Guide lines for anything symmetrical: eyebrows, parting, tie. • True image instead of mirror image: see yourself the way others do. TEXT AND CODES • Recognise text in the image, copy it or have it read aloud, such as package leaflets, manuals or menus. Reading mode shows it large and in your filter colours. • Barcodes and QR codes are read and shown as plain text. Nothing opens unless you tap it. • "Search" opens the chosen text as a Google search in your browser; recognised web addresses can be tapped. • Recognition runs entirely on your device, without internet. KEEP IT • Save still images or record a short video with a long press. Everything goes into the "MirrorLens" album. MADE FOR TIRED EYES • Large buttons, high contrast, five colour themes in light and dark. • Volume keys to zoom or hold, quick settings tile in the notification shade. • Eleven languages, switchable without restarting. HONEST No account, no subscription. The app never uploads images or recognised text; settings are stored locally. Only when you tap "Search" does a Google search open in your browser. The app is funded by ads. No beauty filter, no face recognition. MirrorLens magnifies and lights things up. It does not judge anything and is no substitute for a doctor.
