WiFi analyzer, network scanner, speed test, ping, DNS lookup & port scan
WiFi Analyzer & Network Tools is an all-in-one WiFi scanner and network toolkit for analyzing wireless networks, discovering devices on your LAN, testing internet speed, and troubleshooting connection problems. Scan nearby WiFi networks, find connected devices, check signal strength and channels, run an internet speed test, ping hosts, scan ports, look up DNS records, and check network security from one app. WIFI ANALYZER Analyze nearby WiFi networks and view SSID, BSSID, channel, WiFi band and signal strength in dBm. Compare 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, identify channel congestion, and get a recommended 2.4 GHz channel based on nearby networks. Use the Sweet Spot Finder to record WiFi signal strength in different rooms and compare readings to find weak coverage areas. NETWORK SCANNER Scan your WiFi or local network to discover connected devices. View IP address, hostname, MAC address, vendor, device type and open ports when available. Device discovery combines ARP, mDNS, UPnP, SSDP and an active TCP subnet scan. Identify routers, phones, computers, printers, cameras, NAS devices and smart home devices. INTERNET SPEED TEST Test your internet connection with a live speed gauge. Measure download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter and packet loss in one test. Save speed test results to history and view previous results over time. NETWORK TOOLS PING Check connectivity to a hostname or IP address using TCP probes. View minimum, average and maximum response times to help troubleshoot slow or unreliable connections. PORT SCANNER Scan an IP address on your network and choose the port range to check. Common network services are labeled when recognized. DNS LOOKUP Look up A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and SOA records. Perform reverse DNS lookups to find the hostname associated with an IP address. NETWORK SECURITY Review devices discovered during your network scan and identify potentially risky open services such as Telnet, FTP, SMB, RDP and VNC. The security check explains why these services may require attention. CAMERA CHECK Check discovered devices for indicators commonly associated with network cameras, including camera-related MAC vendors, RTSP services, control ports and camera-style mDNS services. EVENT LOG Keep a record of completed network scans with the device count and scanned subnet. Search and filter previous scan events. WAKE ON LAN Send a Wake-on-LAN magic packet to compatible PCs, NAS devices and media servers on your network. WORKSPACES Create separate workspaces for home, office or client networks and switch between saved setups. EXPORT NETWORK REPORTS Export your device list as CSV with IP address, MAC address, hostname, vendor, device type, risk level and open ports. Create a multi-page PDF network report with a summary and complete device table. CSV files use the Android share sheet and PDFs open in Android's print and save interface. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Android requires location and nearby WiFi permissions for WiFi scanning and WiFi network information. The app does not use these permissions to read your GPS location. Internet, network state, WiFi state and multicast networking are used for network discovery, DNS lookups and internet speed testing. Notifications, camera, Bluetooth and legacy storage permissions are optional and are not required for the core network tools. The app does not perform background network scans in this version. USEFUL FOR • WiFi network analysis and WiFi scanning • WiFi channel and signal checking • LAN and IP device discovery • Connected device scanning • Internet speed testing • Network troubleshooting • Ping and connectivity testing • Port scanning • DNS lookup • Network security checks • Wake-on-LAN • WiFi coverage testing • Network device reports Analyze your WiFi signal, find devices connected to your network, test internet performance, check open ports, troubleshoot DNS, or inspect your local network with WiFi Analyzer & Network Tools.
