A virtual pixel pet that lives on your screen: walks, sings and types with you
Pixelots is a tiny pixel pet that lives on your phone's screen. It walks along the edges, keeps you company in every app, and joins in with whatever you're doing. Picture this. You unlock your phone and a little pixel puppy waves hello from the bottom of your screen. It strolls along the edge, hops round the corner, climbs up the side and dozes off by the clock. Pick it up and it dangles from your fingertip. Let go, and it tumbles back down. It never gets in your way: everything on your screen works just as it always has. ★ IT LIVES YOUR DAY WITH YOU Your Pixelot notices what you're up to, and joins in. Put on a song and it grabs a tiny mic and sings along, in its own little rhythm for every track. Start typing and out comes a laptop no bigger than a crumb. Settle in for a film and it scoots to a corner with a bucket of popcorn. Pick up a game and it picks up a gamepad. Open Maps and it takes the wheel. On a call, it puts a paw to its mouth and keeps quiet. Open the camera and it strikes a pose. ★ IT HAS FEELINGS Your Pixelot gets hungry, sleepy, playful and, if you've been away a while, a little lonely. It snacks happily while your phone charges, yawns when the battery runs low, stretches in the morning and curls up at night. A tap or two always cheers it up. ★ YOU CHOOSE HOW IT REACTS Should it wave when you unlock your phone? Jump at every new message? Dance when your headphones go in, or when the battery hits 100%? Celebrate every 1,000 steps you take? You decide, moment by moment. ★ DRESS IT UP Caps and crowns, cool shades and ski goggles, cozy scarves and dapper bow ties. Every outfit fits every Pixelot, whether it's walking, napping or mid-flip. Try anything on in the fitting room before you buy it. Treat it to donuts, watermelon or ice cream at charging time, and teach it new tricks: spins, happy hops, wiggles and full flips. ★ MEET THE PIXELOTS A puppy, a cat, a bear, a bunny and a fox, each drawn pixel by pixel, with more Pixelots on the way. Pick your favourite and give it a name. ★ MADE WITH CARE • Your privacy comes first. Your Pixelot only notices that something happened, never what. It doesn't read your messages, your typing or your screen, and nothing ever leaves your phone. • Kind to your battery: it rests while your screen is off. • Cozy by day, dreamy by night, on phones, foldables and tablets. • Pay once for what you love. No ads, no subscriptions. ★ PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN WORDS To walk on your screen, Pixelots needs permission to appear over other apps. Everything else is optional, and only asked for when you turn on the matching feature: notification access (to sing along with your music and notice new notifications), phone (to notice incoming calls), physical activity (to count your steps) and usage access (to tell when you're watching a video, playing a game or using Maps). Accessibility service (optional) Pixelots offers an optional accessibility feature that lets your Pixelot type along exactly when you type, and scroll along when you scroll. If you turn it on, Pixelots uses the Accessibility Service only to notice that typing or scrolling happened. It never reads what you type, never reads what's on your screen, and never taps or acts for you. Nothing it notices is stored or shared, and it never leaves your phone. Everything else in Pixelots works without it, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone's Accessibility settings. Your phone just got a little friend. Say hi to your Pixelot!
