VimKata: Learn Vim Visually

really cool idea, learning vim controls in an interactive session, clear instructions and building up knowledge by doing exercises repeatedly, feels like that same learning style of Duolingo, really nice and other apps don't seem to have anything similar, they are just reading instead of being active

Best Vim tutor app out there! Just wish there were more exercises, or maybe a quiz mode that comes up with infinite variations on exercises.

$5 for a practice app gemini could write in 5 minutes

good but limited too much for the free version.

app is too small and input has some bugs, but it looks good

Looks nice but there's not really much depth here. Lessons that could be combined are separated, which wastes time. Concepts aren't built upon in a natural way and there's no dedicated practice mode that goes off what you've learnt. Lessons also end without letting you see what the final result is. I could go on but you'll get more out of just using vim elsewhere
