Very good application. I would like to add the ability to export/import custom formulas to a custom folder.
The ability to do custom formulas with input and output have help me a ton at work, no more messing around with a calculator and less chance of making a mistake.
No backup function , not going to spend hours setting it up and lose them all when I change device. Also needs default value for variables

You can actually export all formulas for a category, then copy the files to a new phone and do a multiple import. There is also now an option on the "About" dialog to copy the internal SQLite database to a location where you can access to back it up via USB cable.
Just what I needed, this is a really excellent app and very intuitive!
It was a hard decision to buy it even with it on sale given I likely had 30 calculators on my android anyways. However, I didn't have a program-your-own formulas app so I got it. One of my first formulas tried was statistics based sum of a series and discovered SUM function not supported so I guess asking for more support of math functions is where to start asking as far as improvements. Developer added SUM immediately on my behalf. It's about 2yrs later and I don't regret buying it one bit.

Thanks for the feedback. Version 7.8 of the app allows you to sum the results of computing the formulas using a range of input values. This is achieved using the new sigma button.

Awesome graceful setup of my new formulas. Now I can make those little formula-calcs I used to scrounge the whole store for.
Awesome app, it just takes a little bit of time to figure out how to put in all the information.
Excellent app, but, what would make it even better would be the app database saved somewhere that doesn't need root to play around with. I find it easier to edit the database on the PC. That way I also have a backup copy. Any chance this could be done?

You can export all the formulas for a category to *.cf text files on your phone's storage with the export option on the menu, then copy them to your PC, edit them there using Notepad, then import them back into the app using the new "import multiple" option when done. That's probably better than working with a database whose schema may change.
I was originally looking for a programming app when I found this one. I watched the video and this is above and beyond the functionality I was initially seeking! I would love to see more in depth documentation or a user manual. I received developer feedback on the usage of the 'if()' statement. Turns out I was not using it correctly. Update: The developer replied to my email with some excellent feedback and examples! Now 5 stars!
