Block Shorts, unwanted words, searches and channels on your child’s Android.
Mama Kids Control helps parents create a safer, more controlled YouTube experience for children on Android. Instead of completely blocking YouTube, parents can choose what to restrict while their child continues watching allowed content. PARENTAL CONTROLS • Block YouTube Shorts • Block videos containing unwanted words • Block searches using selected words • Add blocked words in English, Tigrinya, Amharic, Arabic and other languages • Block selected YouTube channels • Block selected download and install actions • Block configured video-downloader apps • Help prevent restricted external links from opening • Help prevent blocked content from continuing through picture-in-picture When restricted content is detected, Mama Kids Control shows a child-friendly blocking message and helps the child return to allowed content. PARENT PIN Parent settings are protected with a PIN. Parents can manage blocked words, channels and individual protection rules. A recovery option is available if the PIN is forgotten. PRIVACY-FOCUSED • No Mama Kids Control account required • No advertising inside Mama Kids Control • Parental-control rules are stored on the device • Personal information is not sold ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Mama Kids Control uses Android Accessibility Service for its core parental-control features. When enabled, it detects relevant information displayed in supported apps, such as video titles, channel names, search terms, buttons and navigation events, so the restrictions selected by the parent can be applied. Accessibility Service is not used for advertising, collecting passwords or selling personal information. SUBSCRIPTION Mama Kids Control includes a 7-day free trial. After the trial, parents can choose a monthly or annual subscription managed securely through Google Play. Mama Kids Control is an independent parental-control app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
