works great I've used this app on every device I had last 6 years
They're going "ai" slop now, RIP proton.
I loved this service and thought I liked the company, but the recent news that the CEO of Proton called an attitude of caution toward AI code and wanting to pentest it "loser thinking". Cancelled my sub, and urge caution toward trusting them again until they show change.
Easy to use and easy took at. Reliable and responsive.
Mixed experiences over the last two months. I can't help but wonder if it has to do with the push for AI code and calling proper bug testing "loser mindset". I've been a paying member on numerous accts for a decade and now I feel compelled to switch to Tuta or selfhost. So frustrating to lose the company I trusted for so long.... I paid for a service under a specific premise I may not have actually been receiving and certainly don't moving forward, is that grounds for chargeback? We'll see!
