This update fully resolves Google Play's Android 15 edge-to-edge report. The last deprecated system-bar color APIs are gone, so the app targets SDK 36 with modern edge-to-edge behavior.
Fly the rescue chopper, free hostages, master Classic Mode & 4 special ops!
Rotor Rescue: Choplifter Rise is a modern tribute to the legendary 1982 Choplifter, rebuilt for touch screens. Pilot the MK VII combat chopper deep behind enemy lines, blast open prison barracks, load survivors aboard and bring every hostage home alive. THE MISSION The year is 1981. Your Rotor flight has been inserted into a fractured timeline to stop a prisoner network linked to technology that should not exist yet. Break the cells, load up to 8 survivors at a time and fly them home. Hostages die if you hit them, so aim carefully. Lose all lives — or all hostages — and the mission fails. CLASSIC MODE Flip on Classic Mode to relive the retro ruleset: doubled 16-survivor capacity, classic target priorities and pure 80s arcade tension. 18-SECTOR CAMPAIGN Fight from desert compounds to frozen peaks, battling tanks that lob shells, jets you must face head-on, flak towers with predictive aim, homing drones, floating mines, the MI-28 Reaper gunship — and the Architect, a final boss protected by three orbiting shield nodes above a rising coolant flood in Sector 18: Terminus. 4 SPECIAL MISSIONS (unlocked after the campaign) • LAST BIRD FLYING — endless survival: one helicopter, one life, waves that never stop. Resume from any wave (1–100) and chase your record. • KILL 'EM ALL — extermination sortie: no barracks, no civilians, every hostile type in one enormous arena. Nothing ends it but the last kill. • OPERATION NIGHTFLIER — a covert night raid: invert saucer targeting beams with flares and strike while they dock. • WHITEOUT EXTRACTION — alpine rescue: blast the avalanche crown, hover in the no-landing summit and winch eight climbers home one by one. FLY, FIGHT, RESCUE • Intuitive virtual stick: lift off, swing your nose and strafe low and fast • Double-tap flares for an invulnerable evasive roll • Drop free-fall bombs with a huge blast radius • Unlock the magenta Plasma Cannon for heavy shield penetration • Optional Cheat Mode: 2.2x rate of fire, reinforced hull, extra bombs and +30% mission time MADE FOR PILOTS Guided Sortie flight training, pilot ranks from Cadet to Legend, custom liveries, world leaderboards, flight records and commendations. The hostages are waiting, Pilot. Spin up the rotors and bring them home!
