A Bible promise for each day, with audio reading and guided prayer
Selah is the pause found in the Psalms: a moment to stop and let the word settle. This app helps you take that pause each day with God's promises, in the Bible version you already use. WHAT DOES YOUR HEART NEED TODAY? Explore hundreds of Bible promises and filter by how you feel to find the one that speaks to you today. You can also search by word, promise, or verse, or let the app surprise you with a random inspiration. YOUR DAILY RHYTHM - Today's Promise: A new promise awaits you on the home screen every time you open the app. - Daily Reminder: Choose the time and receive a notification to take a moment with your promise. - Guided Morning Prayer: Five minutes in five steps to quiet your body, surrender the day, and leave with a word. - Moment of Stillness: Two minutes to let go of the rush, contemplate a truth, and give thanks. REFLECT AND WRITE Guided reflection invites you to read the promise twice, at your own pace, and answer simple questions: Which word resonates with you? When do you need it in your day? What do you want to say to God? Write your prayers and what you received in personal notes associated with each promise. LISTEN TO THE PROMISES Each promise with audio can be listened to aloud, ideal for commuting or when you prefer to close your eyes. Once listened to, the reading is saved on your phone. SAVE AND SHARE Tap the heart to save the promises you want to keep handy. Share them as an image ready for stories and statuses, or in a format for chats and posts. THE BIBLE VERSION YOU USE When you begin, you choose your version: one with classic and traditional language, or one with current and accessible language. You can change it whenever you want from your profile, and your saved promises are retained. YOUR PRIVACY - You don't need to create an account. - Your name, saved promises, and notes remain on your device and are never sent to our servers. - The emotion filter works within the app: how you feel stays on your phone. - Once downloaded, promises can be read offline. You can also choose between a light or dark theme. Biblical texts are used with attribution, which you can find in your profile.
