CompareOpen in Google Play
I've had better ones in the past. I just can't remember the name of which one was best overall. One came with the A-17 already so I compared this app but I chose to keep the A-17 ready one, it's better.
This seems to be just a "shortcut" to the settings menu entry. Tapping build 7x does nothing. I suspect the carrier has locked access to dev options on my phone. I'd hoped this app would let me bypass that, but it doesn't. Thanks for response. Yes shortcuts are great for frequently used stuff buried in menus. Make a generator that creates them for user favorites. Personally I'd only use dev ops a few times a year, but others more often. Have to search to find.

Sorry for the confusion. While it's a shortcut, it boosts efficiency for everyone — quick access to dev settings beats menu digging. As for the carrier/OEM lock on developer options, that's a system-level restriction apps can't bypass. You'd need to contact Motorola or your carrier. The latest version has significantly optimized this issue. Through this app, those already enabled can directly enable it, and those not yet enabled can quickly access the developer options.
