The app is almost good, but it has issues calculating the taxes correctly when you split the bill.

Your phone number is required to verify your account and help keep payments and withdrawals secure. Once your account is set up, creating a split is quick, and your guests do not need to download the app to join or pay.
The app is very good and easy to use. However, I couldn’t claim half a dish when I wanted to, as the app only allows dishes to be claimed in whole-number quantities. It would be great if users could customise the fraction or quantity of a dish they want to claim, such as ½ or ¼. This would make the app much more flexible and convenient.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, Vedant! We completely agree shared dishes should be easier to divide. We’re working on making item splitting more flexible so users can claim partial quantities like ½ or ¼ of an item. Really appreciate the suggestion
Your app is not handling an important expense situation of Kitty or pooled cash fund model when expense is done from a cash fund contributed by group members before the trip starts.
I enjoy the app,my concern when the receipt paper is too long it doesn't read all the items on the receipt. What do you do?

Sorry about that. We’re looking into an issue that can cause the app to remain stuck on the loading screen for you. Please make sure you’re on the latest version of Split Mobile and try fully closing and reopening the app. If it still won’t load, email us at support@splitapp.co with your account email and we’ll help troubleshoot it directly.
It's a really great app but it doesn't work in Belize. Maybe in the future when it does I'll redownload it🤷🏾♀️

Thanks for the kind words, and sorry Belize isn’t supported yet. We’re actively expanding Split Mobile internationally and adding more countries and local payment options over time. We’d love to have you back once Belize is supported.
The app charges 5% to split payments via card. The splitter has to open a stripe individual business account.
Available in the app store for Dominican Republic vut the country and currency is not listed in the app.

Concept is great. but for items that we ordered more than one of, it didn't parse the cost correctly. we had to do a lot of manual correction. Having to manually edit even just a few entries defeats the whole purpose of the app.

Hi Carlos we do allow items to be edited after a receipt is scanned, so what you experienced appears to be a bug. We’re also actively improving receipt parsing, especially for multiple quantities of the same item. Please email us at support@splitapp.co so our team can review exactly what happened.
