This is a great app, with faults. This app generates great NPCs the only error is it assumes ages are all the equivalent to human ages. A 121 year old Dwarfis considered an ancient character. It's easy to fix yourself just enter a human equivalent age, like 121 year old Dwarf is like a 35 year old human.

Thanks for the great review and excellent feedback! I'll work on a solution, though in the meantime you can also put in an age descriptor instead of number and it'll sort it out (like put in "middle-aged" instead of 40, for example). Watch for an update to fix this, and glad you enjoy the app!

its ok. not a lot special about from the mode than hand full of NPCs I made with it. there are a lot of similar things out there. big downside is internet connection is required, but I also understand why.

updated: I loved the app after just one day, and the free uses seemed generous, but I'm loving it even more on day two now that I purchased the full version, price is really affordable, and it's nice that it's a one-time purchase. thank you for the app

Thanks so much for the great review, and FYI it's just a one-time purchase! I'm not a fan of subscriptions either 🙌🏼

The app has some promise, but a few things to fix before it's great. My first issue is being able see what you're typing, especially in the "Current Activity" box that is typically more than one word. The screen is covered by the keyboard. Next, the first image on the Google Play screensets your expectations for cost and daily usage, which has been drastically adjusted. I would encourage the author to update that image. Finally, make it more intuitive to find the paid upgrade button.

Thank you for the excellent feedback! I'll be working on the keyboard adjustment fix shortly. Good catch on the screenshot 🙌🏼 New update is live! Dynamic layout inbound. Check it out

It does exactly what it says. However, only 3 per day.

it's good at creating a personality and back story. every time I try to generate a stat block, regardless of which system or level I choose, it gives me an error. the error did not indicate that it had anything to do with being the free version

Developer reply

Hi Jeffrey! Thanks for the feedback. Are you using the paid version or free? Stat blocks are only available in the paid (leveled up) version. I'll take a look and make sure it's working correctly and more clear.

3 uses per day on free version. Can choose between ordinary and heroic character types. Can specify specific known elements for the character (race, current activity, location, etc). Generates background information and a star block into Pathfinder 1 or 2, or D&D 5e formats. You can choose between three level tiers to ensure you get a useful character for your campaign at that moment. Can export outputs as text to paste into other documents. Needs Fantasy Grounds or other VTT exports

Thanks for the great review and idea for more exports. That's definitely something I'll look into! 🙌🏼

the app is a wonderful way for me to craft npc's easily and with the copy text option I'm able to change whatever I feel the need to. the ability to create a stat sheet is also a great addition for if I'm trying to create a quick encounter, or even something greater and just can't think of anything. over all a great support for world building.
