What you’re seeing is likely the ad shown on app open — it helps us cover server and map costs. That said, it shouldn’t feel intrusive or block usage. these places are not abandoned, theyre just run down junk. there are many actual abandoned places in my area thar aren't here.

Some spots might feel more “run down” than fully abandoned — definitions can vary a lot depending on the place. We try to review submissions, but we also rely on the community to keep things accurate 🏚️ If you know better spots in your area, feel free to add them or report the ones that don’t fit 👍

If you know an abandoned place that's missing, we'd actually love for you to add it 🙌 That's how the map keeps growing for everyone. We're adding new locations every day thanks to the community. 🏚️🗺️
Really janky control. Map likes to shoot off to random locations. Doesn't have many local sites (I can name more than the app). Randomly forgets settings, but leaves them "set"

The map definitely shouldn't jump to random locations—that's something we'd like to investigate. Could you send us a quick screen recording and your device model at contact@itsabandoned.com? Are you using the latest update? As for local sites, the map keeps growing thanks to community contributions, so feel free to add the places you know too. 🙏
The app is cool, but it's not made for Android, like my s25 ultra can't run it, but on iphone 13 it's fine, so yeah it's not running on Android.

I think over hated I get urbex culture but friends might wanna go out to there families to its a very good app it does it's job and everything

Not great selection of spots with little information and the app is really laggy but hopefully it will become better over time.
