Accel is a free metronome app that handles the tempo changes for you. Instead of nudging the tempo by hand every few minutes, set a start tempo, how long to hold each step and how much to add, and Accel raises the tempo automatically, always on a bar line, never mid-phrase. When you reach your target it can ramp back down again, so one run takes you up and back. Built for players who take their rhythm practice seriously: a practice metronome with a native, sample-accurate click track that keeps running with the screen off, tap tempo that doubles as a BPM counter, a gap trainer that drops in silent bars to test your inner clock, and a clean dark interface with nothing in the way.
