It works very well for me on my Samsung Tablet, if audiobooks are local (both internal and SDcard) but I am unable to connect Google Drive which is where my library is sitting. I would give 5 stars if that worked.
Solid app, UI could use a refresh, also settings don't restore when swapping to a new phone, I can do it manually, but why not the built in way via Android too? Also the manual export straight to Google Drive writes an empty file.

Thanks for reporting the issue with Google Drive export. It will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, if you use the auto backup option it will work.
Why is it suddenly diverting to PlayStore? Great! Dev suggested I reinstall it and now some of my books don't work. Still sends user to PlayStore when offline, it's like a killswitch.

To prevent this issue you need to install the app directly from the play store and open it while connected to the internet at least once so it can verify license. It will work offline after that. If you did that and still see this error please email me directly so I can help.

was a 5 star experience, but the app's Plex connectivity has ceased to work for me which is where i keep all of my books. the page to connect to plex is completely broken. it used to have me auto signed in but seemed to need me to reconnect, but now the page doesnt sign in and is stuck on audiobookshelf only edit: a few hours later and it seems like its working again, might have just been a Plex issue but was a strange visual bug so I thought it was the apps fault. changed score back to 5

This app is really well built and has been my preferred one for audiobook listening. However, the app in its current version interrupts audio (it stops for one second and resumes) when powering off display for background listening and also the other way around (when unlocking the phone). I believe this is a issue that didn't happen in older versions.

some times things just work
I have used this app for eleven years now and have probably listened to ten thousand hours with it. I take my audiobooks very seriously. Once going so far as to decline a job offer partly because they only used iphones so I couldn't use Listen on my daily driver (not joking). This app is pretty much perfect and it is almost always rock solid. Once in a while there is a minor bug but so far they have always been fixed within a couple of weeks. I cannot recommend this app enough.

This has been my audiobook player app for years so what I paid was well worth it. I use a different player now though because the book cover picture on the widget constantly disappears, this isn't a huge deal but it is very annoying.

A drop after an update usually means the update broke something.
