What is it worth? Point your phone at anything and find out. PawnCounter is a value scanner for the things you actually own: take a photo or type a few words, and it tells you what the item is, who made it, and what its value is on both sides of a deal.
THREE NUMBERS, NOT ONE
Most "what is it worth" apps give you one figure. The value of a thing depends on who is asking, so PawnCounter gives you three:
• Sells for: the value you can expect selling it yourself, used.
• Buy one for: what to expect to pay for one.
• A pawn shop might offer: what a pawn shop is likely to pay to buy it outright.
See all three before you sell, before you buy, and before you walk into a pawn shop. It works as a pawn shop calculator for the person on the customer's side of the counter.
WHAT IT IS, NOT ONLY ITS VALUE
• The name a seller would title it, with brand and model.
• When it was made, and who made it.
• The history behind it when it is old: what it was for, what changed over the years, why collectors want it.
• What to check before you buy or sell: how to tell a real one from a copy, which variant has more value, which parts go missing.
A VALUE SCANNER FOR ANYTHING
Not only cards or coins. Use it as a tool value scanner, a toy value scanner, an antique identifier and value guide, or for guitars, watches, jewelry, cameras, electronics, vintage and collectible pieces, and the thing from the attic nobody can name. Take it to a yard sale, a thrift store or an estate sale. Use it before you list something for resale, or to find the resale value of what you already own.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT KNOWS
Every value is an AI estimate in US dollars and is stamped ESTIMATE. It is not an appraisal, not a quote and not today's price, and it can be wrong. When PawnCounter cannot stand behind a value it shows a dash, not a guess. One tap opens eBay's own sold and for-sale listings for the item, so you can check what it is worth for yourself.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• No account. No ads. No tracking kit.
• What you look up stays on your phone.
• A photo is sent to be read and is not kept.
• Works with no signal: a lookup waits and is answered when the signal returns.
FOR PAWN SHOPS: THE PHONE AT YOUR COUNTER
PawnCounter is also the app a pawn shop uses at its own counter. Pair the phone with your pawn shop's PawnCounter account by a code, with no new sign-in.
• Photo to offer: the value of the item from what the same thing sold for in your own pawn shop, with a buy price, a loan amount, and how good the match was. A pawn shop calculator built on your own sales, not a national average.
• Today's slip: what to reprice, what to get rid of, and the loan book, as of your last export.
• Count the floor tag by tag. See what is short, what is over, and what is on the shelf with no record. Export the count as a CSV.
• An offer made with no signal waits with its photo and is priced later.
• It reads your numbers and never writes to your POS.
• A pawn shop with no computer can keep its inventory book on the phone.
FREE AND PRO
Three lookups a day are free, with everything above. PawnCounter Pro removes the daily limit, and the size limit on a phone-only inventory book. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription billed through Google Play; the yearly plan starts with a free trial where one is offered. Cancel any time in Google Play. A pawn shop's own PawnCounter plan covers its phones.
