Glowing border light on your screen edge. A different color for every app.
Edge Light turns the rim of your screen into a notification light. When a message, a call or the charger arrives, a band of colour runs around the edge of the display — so you know what happened without waking the phone or picking it up. A COLOUR FOR EVERY APP This is the part most edge lighting apps leave out. You decide which colour belongs to which app: green for WhatsApp, orange for Shopee, blue for Zalo, whatever you like. Pick the colours yourself, or let the app read them from the app icon. Any installed app can be added, and each one can run its own animation. Green glow means a chat; red glow means the one you were waiting for. You stop reaching for the phone to check. 20 ANIMATIONS, 12 BORDER SHAPES Chase, breathing, waterfall, fire dance, radar, sparkle and more. The border can follow the screen edge or take a shape — rounded, pill, circle, oval, hexagon, heart, star. Every effect runs live in the preview while you choose, so you see the real thing before you turn it on. 39 COLOUR THEMES, OR BUILD YOUR OWN Rainbow, galaxy, cyberpunk, vaporwave, deep sea, lava, matrix and more, sorted into categories so you are not scrolling a wall of gradients. If none of them fit, the custom palette editor gives you four colour stops to set by swatch or by hex code. SCENES Save a whole look — palette, animation, shape, speed, border width, glow — under a name, and switch to it in one tap. Night can be a thin, slow, deep blue border that turns itself on at 22:00. Gaming can be a thick fire animation. Try anything you like, then go back to the scene you had; nothing is lost. IT KNOWS WHEN TO STAY OFF Quiet hours keep the screen dark through the night. The battery guard pauses the light below a level you choose. "Only while the screen is off" stops it interrupting you mid-use. The app shows you its own estimated battery cost, in percent per day, before you commit to a setting. QUICK TO REACH A Quick Settings tile puts the switch in the pull-down shade. The ongoing notification carries a Stop button. It can come back by itself after a reboot. MADE FOR THE PHONE YOU HAVE Dark and light themes, and on Android 12 and newer the app can take its accent colour from your wallpaper. Works with a notch, a punch hole or a curved edge — the light is drawn to the real shape of your display. NO INTERNET, NO ACCOUNT The app has no internet permission at all. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, there is no sign-in. Notification access is used to know that a notification arrived and which app sent it — never to read what it says. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY • Display over other apps — required. Without it there is nothing to draw the border on. • Notification access — so the light can react to a notification. Optional; without it calls and the charger still work. • Phone state — only for the incoming-call trigger. • Post notifications — for the ongoing notification with its Stop button.
