Translation runs on your phone, so your documents never leave the device. ■ One app for many documents • PDF • Hangul (.hwp, .hwpx) • Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf) and text (.txt) • PowerPoint (.pptx) • Excel (.xls, .xlsx) ■ See documents as they were made • Hangul documents and PDFs are shown as paper pages that you scroll up and down. • Word documents can be read in a mobile view that fits the screen or in print layout. • PowerPoint slides and Excel sheets (multiple sheets, cell formatting and pictures) keep their original look. • Zoom with two fingers, and turn your phone sideways for a wider view. • Find in document, go to page and adjust text size. ■ Translate on your phone, without the internet • Download a language once (about 30 MB each) and translate offline from then on. • Document text is never sent to a server, so you can translate work documents with peace of mind. • More than 50 languages are supported, and the source language is detected automatically. ■ The right way to translate each document • Select and translate: touch and hold to select text, or touch and hold a Hangul paragraph or an Excel cell to translate it right away. • Page translation panel: in PDF, Hangul and PowerPoint, the translation of the current page appears below the document and follows as you move through the pages. • Translate the whole document: read Word documents as translation only or together with the original. • Replace text in slides: the text in PowerPoint slides is replaced with the translation, and long text shrinks to fit. • In landscape, the document and the translation appear side by side. ■ Handy features • Open documents again straight from the recent documents list. • Open files directly from a file manager or messenger with "Open with". • Add fonts for Hangul documents (such as Hamchorom) that you have downloaded yourself. • The built-in guide explains each feature step by step. • The app is available in English, 한국어, 日本語 and 中文. ■ Please note • Password-protected documents and old formats (PowerPoint 97-2003 .ppt, Word 95 and earlier) can't be opened. • Scanned PDFs (pages made of images) can't be translated yet. • PDF page translation works on Android 15 or later, or on Android 12 – 14 with an up-to-date Google Play system update. • On-device translation may be less fluent than online translation services.
