Initial release. Import, trim and resize GIFs, preview the result, and export with the native share sheet. Processing stays on your device.
Resize and trim GIFs; check the actual file size before sharing.
Make a smaller GIF while keeping your original animation. Import a supported GIF, preview its frames, trim a contiguous range and choose output dimensions and a color limit. Loopmend tries bounded encoding candidates and shows the actual output bytes. If the chosen target cannot be met, the result says so. Review the animation before sharing the exported GIF. Optional frame reduction keeps the combined encoded timing of the retained range, but fewer frames and colors can change motion and image quality. GIF viewers may interpret zero-delay frames differently. You can also export a selected frame as PNG. Inputs are GIF87a or GIF89a files up to 12 MB, with 1 to 300 frames and no more than 1,200 pixels per edge. The current device memory budget is 12 million decoded pixels across the frames, so a file within the other limits can still be too large. Video, animated WebP and Live Photos are not supported. A smaller target is not guaranteed for every animation. Processing stays on this device and does not replace the original. No account, advertising, subscription or in-app purchase is required. The interface is in English.
