I deeply appreciate Arrow Video Channel. For the price, this is an absolute must if you love genre/exploitation. The Shaw Bros selection is unreal! Since the disaster of the Criterion Channel app update this is now my favorite streaming app (the app works beautifully on Roku devices).
ever since I've renewed my purchase I haven't been able log in/view content I can't get in touch with anyone to resolve this issue, please could someone contact me! edit: someone got In touch and the issue was sorted, score now reflects what I feel about the app when working
Update: Used in app form (located in the top right corner of Help center) to contact OTT Support to explain my issue and received prompt and helpful responses that quickly restored access to content. I was instructed to cancel my subscription via Google Play and was given equivalent uprade to my account. I will have to sign up directly on the website when subscription ends. Original: App broken, can't restore purchase of subscription, keep getting "Trouble connecting. Please try again" message
I bought some of their 4K blu rays, which were fantastic, but didn't even know they had a streaming app. They do, it's a bargain, and the content library is great and extensive. I knew Arrow was cool when I first saw the trailer they made for their Nico Mastorakis Collection. These folks obviously take pride in their work. And yes, you can stream in 4K for some content.
It's not the best streaming service out there, but if you're like one of those people like me who REALLY wanted to see the shawscope vol 1,2,3, and 4 collections but then realize that getting all those sets will probably set you back 500+ dollars... well thankfully the arrow video channel has all those for a very reasonable price and so much more. I do wish that they sometimes do more free trials or reduced subscription pricing every once in a while... but it's good enough I suppose.

Arrow and criterion channel are the two best streaming services. Great collection of foreign films
A good choice of lesser known films and has most of my favourite Asian films I enjoyed when I was a teenager
I really don't know why I have to manually enable subtitles. The website/app is entirely in English. If I happened to be fluent in Mandarin or Russian or whatever, I could disable the subtitles, which is nice, but what are the odds, really? Aside from that, there's a pretty good selection of movies that seem like they'd be worth watching whenever I can still my mind enough to do so.
A great service for cinephiles looking for cult, horror, and action movies. I wish they would get more TV shows like "Masters of Horror", "Bitten", and " Hemlock Grove". I hope they will continue to show more Dario Argento, Mario Bava, Claude Chabrol, Mike Hodges, Russ Meyer films along with showing movies directed by Tinto Brass, Paul Morrissey, Ken Russell, Radley Metzger, and Just Jaeckin. Thank you Arrow for being an alternative to the banality of Netflix and Paramount Plus.
Wonderful range of old and new cult movies and series from all over the world. New content added each week. Also documentaries, interviews and commentaries on some movies. It's great value for money and I never run out of things to watch. Edit: Have returned to Arrow after a break and it's still just as fab as it used to be.
