Crease is a puzzle about one simple thing: folding paper. You get a sheet of paper and a small picture of what it should look like. Drag a flap across a crease and the paper folds, just like the real thing. Keep folding until your sheet matches the picture. Sounds easy. It is, for a while. HOW TO PLAY • Drag any part of the sheet across a line to fold it there • Match the MAKE THIS picture to finish the sheet • Use the fewest folds you can to earn three stars • Drag the top flap back to unfold it, or undo a step IT GETS HARDER AS YOU GO The first sheets take a fold or two. Then the paper gets printed, and every fold mirrors the print. Then the big part has to go over the small part and hang past the edge. Then holes appear, and the layer underneath shows through them. Then both sides are printed and you have to think about the back. Each new idea gets its own gentle level before it mixes with the rest. EVERY PUZZLE IS PROVEN Every sheet is checked by a solver before it reaches you. It can always be solved, and the par shown is the true fewest folds possible. If you match par, nobody can beat you. TURN THE PAPER IN 3D Drag the little ball in the corner to tilt and spin the sheet and look at its back. Tap it to turn the paper over. STUCK? A hint shows you exactly where to fold next.
