Turn any photo into string art: nail template, thread steps and a voice guide
Turn any photo into string art you can actually make. Pick a picture, choose your board, and the app works out every line of thread from nail to nail. Then it prints a true size nail template and reads out each nail while you thread. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a photo. A face works best: close up, good light, plain background. 2. Crop it and choose a round or square board. 3. Enter your real board size, number of nails and thread thickness. The preview, the thread length and the printed template all follow these numbers. 4. Watch the string art build line by line. 5. Print the nail template at true size on ordinary paper, with every nail numbered. 6. Thread along with the voice guide. It reads out the next nail, and you step forward with a tap or the volume button, so your hands stay on the thread. MADE FOR REAL BOARDS Thread length in metres and an estimate of the hours before you start. Black or white thread, with a warning when a photo suits the other one. More nails and lines give more detail. The generator stops early when more thread would only grey the picture. Your place is saved, so you can stop at line 1,200 and pick up tomorrow. NOTHING IS LOCKED Every feature is free: any photo, any size, as many designs as you like, full resolution templates. No subscription and no limit of three photos. A single optional payment removes the ads. PRIVATE The pattern is made on your phone. Your photos are not uploaded anywhere.
