Avero MySchool

Avero MySchool brings School Portal's staff leave, relief cover and timetables to your phone. This app is exclusively for staff of organisations subscribed to School Portal, and for the relief teachers they register. A School Portal staff account or a relief teacher registration from your school is required. Your school sets its own leave types, approvers, relief arrangements and rules, and decides which features you can use. STAFF LEAVE - Apply for leave with your approvers, a message, notes for your relief and the colleagues to notify. - Complete a travel declaration with your leave, where your school's leave type asks for one. - Attach lesson materials, such as photos and PDF files, for the relief teachers who cover your lessons. - See your leave and its approval status, update its message, notes and notification list, or cancel it. - Approve or reject the requests waiting for you, and see those you have decided. - See the leave of the staff who report to you and of colleagues who have notified you. - See who covers each of your lessons while you are away. RELIEF - See the cover duty assigned to you, with the lesson, the class, the notes to relief and any lesson materials. - Relief managers can see the lessons that need relief, fill them with suggested teachers or choose from a day view of every teacher's periods, and confirm the assignments. - Authorised staff can add and update the school's relief teachers. - Mark the periods you prefer for relief and, where your school allows, the periods you are not available. - Relief teachers registered by the school sign in with their email address and a one-time PIN, and see their cover duty and, on the day of the lesson, the class details. TIMETABLES - See your timetable for today, with your cover duty in the same list. - Look up a teacher's, a venue's, a class's or a student's timetable, a week at a time, as your school's School Portal allows. NOTIFICATIONS - Be notified of leave waiting for your decision, decisions on your own leave, colleagues' leave and relief cover that concerns you. SIGN-IN AND SECURITY - Sign in with your School Portal login or, where available, with Google, Microsoft or Yahoo. Two-factor authentication is supported where your school requires it. - Protect the app with your fingerprint, face unlock or screen lock when you return to it. - Dictate into longer text boxes instead of typing.
