I've used this app for years now and love it. It does everything I want it to do, is accurate, and easy to use.
Best app for long distance sailing
Provides an accurate and flexible electronic log of SOG, course (OG), speed and position with all necessary derived data. The interface is slightly dated but is simple to understand and operate. LD-Log is an essential part of our motorsailing off the West Coast of Scotland.

An absolute must have if you do long distance sailing. Give you so much more information about your speed and direction than any other instrument on the boat
Awesome! OK, the UI is a bit clunky (see Flowx for an example of a great UI, albeit in a completely different field), but the information that LD-log gathers is right on, and the logging itself is very efficient. I have not used the sailing portion, but hopefully one day I will... I have no hesitation in giving the app 5 stars.

App is simple and effective. Had some issues with getting it to work (Samsung A12) but after some fiddling with power settings I got the battery optimizer to stay away from it. Other than that it does exactly what it promises. I use the offline GPS logging, map view, and multipe routes per trip for motorcycle tour logging and it works great.
Best ever app for keeping track of your route. Easy and clear interface nothing fancy but it does what it has to do.
