Best app for RC community. New update is very visually appealing. Awesome way to find spots and connect with the community. If you love RC you need this app period.

The app clears credentials, an then won't reset password. Very sad, it seemed like a good resource till it locked me out.

Most features are hidden behind a paywall, the developers are using AI to respond to complaints, and in general just a badly designed app.

"RCmaps" has so many more location drops and user base
★★★★★Matthewv8.3.019 May 2026
Like they said in the description, "The Ultimate RC App" they were totally right! Here you have a very respectful community, no, family, of some RC hobbyists and enthusiasts getting together to make RC count. Everybody came share their favourite RC memories, or just post some pictures of their RC cars. You can post your favourite RC spots and stores and find new ones near you!

Reviews like this are why we do it. You nailed it, the community is the whole point. It's not our app, it's everyone's who posts a spot, a memory, or a pic of their rig. Thank you for being part of the family.

map loads centered on LA. Incredibly annoying
Developer reply
You're right, and we're on it. The map centering on LA instead of your location is a known bug and the fix is in the works. Thanks for flagging it, an update is coming soon.

seems like a user privacy nightmare
Developer reply
Not sure what you mean here. Location is the only permission we ask for, and only because it's a map app. We don't collect your real name, payments are handled by Google (we never see or store payment info), and you can even hide your email. If something specific worried you, message us and we'll clear it up.

downloaded the app and opened it and it just showed like it was loading but loaded nothing for the 3 minutes I waited. the map shows nothing in my area and also nothing in the area I know there to be a RC park. not worth the download when nothing in the app works.

We experienced a brief outage due to rapid growth and development updates around the time of your review, but it was quickly resolved. BashMaps is community-driven, new spots are added by users. If a location you know about isn’t listed yet, we encourage you to add it to the map and help grow the community in your area. Maybe give us another try?
