Bayou Defense: Tower Defense

Bayou Defense is a tower defense game set deep in the swamp. Mémère Odile's still is running, and everything on the water wants a taste. Build your towers, hold the trail and the channel, and get the batch out. SIX STOPS DOWN THE BAYOU Cypress Landing, Firefly Hollow, Floodwater Crossing, Bramble Bend, Moonshine Run and Rougarou Marsh. Each stop is its own illustrated map with its own lanes, 20 waves, and its own trouble: rising floodwater, critters that only show in the light, and the Rougarou himself waiting at the end of the run. Clear a stop to open the next. TOWER DEFENSE, BAYOU STYLE Four towers, each with its own job and its own bite: • Gator Bait Rig — a hungry gator on a line. Heavy single hits on anything near the water. • Bramble Launcher — lobs a ball of thorns that keeps burning after it lands. The answer to armor. • Firefly Lantern — a swarm of fireflies that slows everything in its glow. • Airboat Mortar — long range, high arc, and a blast that hits everything under it. Every tower upgrades twice. Every upgrade is a bigger rig with more reach and a harder hit. TWO ROADS TO THE CABIN Critters come down the dirt trail. Raiders come up the channel by airboat and skiff. Land towers, water towers, and shore pads that can take either — where you build matters as much as what you build. PRALINE KNOWS FIRST Praline the dog barks toward the lane the next wave is coming from, a few seconds before it lands. Listen to the dog. NONC ODELL IS WATCHING A fully voiced narrator calls the waves from the porch, cheers the good shots and groans at the leaks. Every spoken line is captioned, so the game loses nothing with the sound off. STARS, COINS AND SUPPLIES Wins earn stars and Coins. Spend Coins in the Supply Depot on one-shot supplies: Gator Food, Bramble Charge, Firefly Charge, Mortar Shell, and a friendly Airboat that patrols the channel.
