Play Mega Drive, Master System and Game Gear files you provide. No ads in-game.
MegaCore plays Sega Mega Drive, Genesis, Master System and Game Gear game files that are already on your device. A free homebrew game, published by its author under an open licence, is included so you can start playing straight away. MegaCore needs no BIOS, it cannot search for or download games, and it has no built-in browser or store. You add your own game files, and it plays them. FEATURES • Mega Drive / Genesis, Master System and Game Gear in one app — the system is detected from the file itself, so there is nothing to choose • Save states with thumbnails, so you can stop anywhere and pick up exactly where you were • Rewind — hold the rewind button to step back out of a mistake • Battery saves work exactly as the original cartridge did, and are kept even if you rename or move the file • Fast forward for slow text and long intros • Three-button and six-button control pads, switchable per game • Move and resize every on-screen button, in portrait and landscape independently • Xbox, PlayStation and other Bluetooth or USB controllers, with fully remappable buttons • Landscape and portrait, with your choice of pixel-perfect or fit-to-screen scaling HOW TO USE IT 1. Tap Add games and pick your game files from Downloads, or choose a whole folder 2. Or open a game file from your file manager and choose MegaCore 3. Your games appear in the library, and a tap starts them Supported file types: .md, .bin, .gen, .sms, .gg, and .zip archives containing them. ADS MegaCore is free and supported by ads. Ads appear in the library and settings, and now and then when you leave a game after playing for a while. There are never ads on top of a running game, and never when you start one. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED Sega CD and 32X titles are not supported.
