3DCDesign is a local-first workspace for makers and small 3D printing shops. Track printer profiles, print jobs, material inventory, notes, gallery media, estimates, reports, resources, and printer status without turning your workflow into a cloud service. Organize the machines and materials you actually use: - Build owned printer profiles with location, defaults, maintenance context, and optional local-network connection details for supported Moonraker/Klipper, OctoPrint, and PrusaLink hosts. - Save physical filament and resin inventory with brand, supplier, quantity, cost, reorder signals, stock history, and linked job usage. - Log print jobs with printer/material context, lifecycle status, customer or quote details, costs, notes, and related media. - Keep standalone or linked workshop notes for jobs, printers, and materials. Plan, estimate, and review shop activity: - Estimate print cost and print time using saved defaults. - Create customer-safe or internal PDF outputs from estimates and monthly reports. - Use local Print Analytics and Monthly Reports to review printer workload, material usage, completion signals, quote value, tracked cost, and estimated margin. - Keep saved PDFs in local Document History for later reference. Explore packaged 3D printing resources: - Browse printer references, material guidance, infill options, printing techniques, glossary entries, guides, FAQs, and helpful tips. - Use the local Gallery to organize print photos, videos, and files and optionally link them to jobs, printer profiles, or material records. - Convert local OBJ files to STL from the Tools area. Premium Backup: Core tracking tools stay free. Premium Backup enables portable local backup creation, including optional Gallery media packages when you choose to include them. Restore remains available for compatible 3DCDesign backup files. Gallery media is stored locally and is not uploaded to a 3DCDesign server. 3DCDesign is built around local records and device storage. It does not require a login, does not upload your shop media to a 3DCDesign server, and does not claim cloud backup or remote-from-anywhere printer control.
