United Kingdom eSIM: 5G data for Scotland & Wales, plus plans with a UK number
UK eSIM puts mobile data on your phone before you board, so you walk out of Heathrow or Gatwick already online instead of hunting for airport Wi-Fi or a UK SIM card counter. Pick a United Kingdom data plan in the app, install it in a few minutes at home, and your maps, Tube directions and messages work from the first minute in London. Why UK eSIM: • US carrier international day passes add up fast on a two-week trip; a prepaid UK data plan keeps the cost fixed • Keep your own number: your US SIM stays active for calls and texts while the eSIM handles data in the United Kingdom • 5G data on British networks where available, 4G LTE everywhere else • No plastic UK SIM card, no store visit, no line at arrivals • Live usage tracking and top-ups inside the app Where it works: London and the whole of England, Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands, Manchester and Liverpool, Oxford, Cambridge and Bath, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Cornwall, Wales and Northern Ireland. One UK eSIM covers the entire United Kingdom, so a train from King's Cross to Edinburgh needs no new setup. Adding Dublin to the itinerary? Plans for Ireland and other destinations are available in the same app. How it works: • Choose your UK data plan and pay with Google Pay or a card • Install the eSIM by QR code or directly in the app (your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked; the app checks this for you) • Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line when you land and you are connected Plans: A UK eSIM is a digital UK SIM card you install on the phone itself. UK-only plans, regional Europe plans and global plans, with options from a small plan for a long weekend in London to a large one for a semester abroad, valid 1 to 30 days. Data + Calls plans also give you a UK phone number, shown in the app, with minutes and texts for calls inside the UK. Unlimited plans are available; after the daily high-speed allowance is used, speed is reduced until the next day. Running low halfway through Scotland? Add a top-up in the app. Your usage is shown live, and because the UK eSIM works as a second line, your number does not change. Who it is for: • First-time visitors doing London, Windsor and Bath • Study abroad students in London, Edinburgh or Manchester • Business travelers with meetings in the City or Canary Wharf • Families visiting relatives across Britain • Road-trippers heading for the Lake District, the Highlands or Cornwall Support and legal: Support: support@ukesim.app. UK eSIM is operated by Bilpp OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia.
