Find nearby BLE devices with a live signal gauge, search, and saved names.
Looking for a Bluetooth device nearby? Follow its signal with BLE Finder. Scan for compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, select a device, and walk slowly toward where its signal gets stronger. The live gauge and signal history help you compare readings as you move. FIND YOUR WAY WITH THE SIGNAL • Scan nearby BLE advertisements. • Compare Strong, Medium, and Weak signal indicators. • Follow a live signal gauge and history bars. • Search by device name or ID, and sort by signal or name. • Save custom names to recognize your devices more easily. • Reopen saved devices when you want to look for them again. GET STARTED 1. Turn on Bluetooth and allow the required scanning permissions. 2. Tap Start Scan, then select your device from the list. 3. Move slowly and compare the signal. A higher number means a stronger signal. WHAT TO EXPECT The device must be powered on, within range, and broadcasting BLE advertisements. Some devices stop broadcasting while asleep or connected. BLE Finder scans only; it does not pair with devices, make them ring, or show a GPS location. Signal strength is a relative guide, not an exact distance measurement. Walls, bags, people, orientation, and battery state can affect readings. Scanning pauses when the app is in the background and resumes when you return. Custom names are stored on this phone and do not change the device's Bluetooth name. Devices that rotate their Bluetooth address may not keep the same saved name. No account is required. The app contains ads. PERMISSIONS Android 12 and later require Nearby devices permission. Android 11 and earlier may require location permission for BLE scanning. Use BLE Finder to locate your own devices only. Do not use it to track or monitor others.
