excellent works great just like real imessage.
A fantastic way for Android users to get Apple users to stop whining. Unfortunately, 2.0 introduced a number of usability bugs on Android making the app noticeably less polished. It looks prettier, but at the sake of functionality.

Wow, Kudos to the developers. This app might be a bit tech savvy to setup but man I am so thankful to the devs behind who put in all the effort and their time to make this work. I want to use Android but my sim is tied to the iPhone as a main phone so I am just very thankful that this solution exists. Tip: Use AI chat that you use to debug the setup. For example for me the error messages weren't obvious but found I needed to set up a billing account for Firebase as Google requires now.

We are just about to release a nearly complete app rewrite (v2.0.0) which will resolve the freezing issues, and general app stability issues. It'll be out in the coming week! It's mostly just pending Google review. It also incorporates a lot of new features and general enhancements
I'm only giving it 1 star because this is not a message app you can just download and use. you have to set it up and I'm not tech savvy enough to do what it needs and I also do not want to have to set up an app just to use it. user beware. if you want to just download and use, this app isn't it.

Hi there, while we appreciate the feedback, we never state this it's a standalone app. We make it very clear that a macOS device is required, and external setup is required. If that's not something you're able to do, then the app isn't for you. Giving it a 1 star, while not even having used the app is a bit unfair
This is really useful when you selfhost everything. Really cool app!

Hey there, good news, we have an app rewrite in the works! You can test it out by signing up for the beta. However, we are pretty close to a full stable release, so you could just wait as well. The rewrite should bring much needed optimizations, including mitigations to crashes. Stay tuned!
