Blue Iris

can't stream half my cameras after server upgrade. clunky ui still. feels abandoned.

Disappointing. It was working but now it won't connect, even when using the QR scan to set it up.

does connect to blue iris server

works great on my home cctv server

its usable, but the video quality isnt very good and it freezes up and crashes on me a lot. no issues scrubbing or anything on desktop

The app works OK, BUT after opening the app, then leaving it in background, and returning to the app, it never reconnects with the BI server. I have to close the app completely so that it's no longer in memory, then re-open it, and then it works. App refresh simply gives me a spinning wheel that never quits with a "Loading..." message. I've tried deleting the data and no help. Developer: Please fix! I have a friend also with an Android phone that has this same issue.

Been using BI for many years. Been using this app on Android since 2019 when I switched from iPhone. I did have push notifications working years ago but they stopped working one day and ive never been able to fix it. The most frustrating thing I have with this app is when watching a recorded clip, the video stream keeps restarting from the beginning. Attempting to watch a clip that's maybe 2 minutes long takes about 20 minutes due to the restarts or i just give up.

Been waiting years for this app to be even remotely as functional as any modern app and no change. $10 for an app that can't even pull up tapped notifications with any sort of reliability is insane.
