Problems with connecting and heart rate data
My Rider 17 is great! But the app seems to conjure up its own date and time for my rides. The device gets the correct date/time via GPS. My phone's date/time is always correct. But the Active app will record it as Monday afternoon when it was actually Tuesday morning. Today's ride was apparently 2 days ago. Why, when even the Rider 17 has it right, is the app so wrong half the time? No way to edit it, which would be useful (not that one should have to!). Find the cause & fix it, please.
Gpx import feature has been disabled. You can only import a gpx file through syncing it with 3rd party apps (strava/komoot) and then syncing the routes in the app. Removing the gpx import feature from the app is a massive downgrade and limits the functionality of my bike computer as one doesn't always have data connection available. It was so straightforward and easy, and they took it away for no reason.

Good app but stays on in the background and drains the phone battery. The only way of exiting is by force stopping the app but the app itself is very good
As of 8/19/26 device now receives text and email message notifications. Thank you for fixing the issues.
I use it with Xiaomi 15 and Rider s810. Positives: - In general, the app is usable. - Synchronization with Strava works fine for me. Negatives: - The app doesn't start without Internet. At all! - Voice search and making a route directly from s810 are unusable (always can't connect to phone). When it connects, it doesn't find the address or a point. - An app update is !!always!! followed by 1-2 bugfixes the following days. - Visualization of activities is buggy (plots) and not user-friendly.

Set-up and synchronisation with device is flaky.
would love to see a route edit option while u can simply edit a route u already made. its so frustrating whenever u wanna change your route a bit, u have to create a new one.
I rarely leave one star reviews but I've wasted hours trying to get the app to sync with other apps and my phone. Support told me I should return it to the vendor so goodness knows where the fault lies (app or device?). I have lots of Komoot routes and it wouldn't sync at all with Komoot, but it did randomly download 10 or so completed Strava routes (from literally thousands).
