Sorry about this, and you're right to be annoyed. It wasn't your phone: our bubble was covering the screen, and the Play Store blocks taps when something covers it. Fixed in v1.5.0, just released. Please update. If it still happens, email us and we'll sort it. Thanks for reporting it.
