Humanity named it the Mira. It spread across the land, and now Japan's last defense line holds just short of Tokyo. The trump card is Uranus, a new fighter built from Mira technology. Its pilots: five high-school girls chosen from across the country and gathered at Shironagi High by the sea. School festivals, the cafeteria's limited-edition pudding, words left unsaid. They fly to protect the everyday lives they love.
