ChannelDeck is a television-first media player for Android TV, Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, and compatible Fire TV devices. Connect media sources you are authorized to use, then watch live television, browse a full program guide, explore supplied Movies and Series libraries, record programs to your own network storage, or watch multiple live channels at once. BUFFERTRUTH On-device playback and reception checks explain interruptions. Supports compatible clear ATSC 3.0/AC-4 streams. SLEEP TIMER AND CLOCK Set 1–240 minutes by keypad or voice; cancel by voice. Choose clock opacity 1–10. The optional AccessibilityService requests standby when your timer expires; it reads no screens or input and collects/shares no data. Requires explicit permission and supported firmware. Connected TV power requires HDMI-CEC. DVR recording and Multi-view require Fire OS 8 on Android API 30 or newer. ChannelDeck disables those two workloads on older Fire OS versions because testing showed they can restart older hardware. Other supported ChannelDeck features remain available. ChannelDeck does not provide, host, sell, recommend, or distribute television channels, subscriptions, playlists, or third-party media.
